Development is Good

I have spoke with a couple friends of mine who i am helping make a documentary about a local musician, Chairman. They have expressed interest in lending a hand in the last few months of shooting. I have another friend who is lined up to assist in the editing process which will get underway soon.

Ian and Natian Brewery will be attending the North American Organic Brewers Festival. So much has happened it's amazing to have documented so much of the process of starting your own brewery. More plans and hopefully more developments coming soon.

Firing Up the Engines...Again

After a long hiatus from filming and hours of research and contemplation, i'm heading back into production again. My goal now is to not just finish what i started but bring in more history of the Portland brewing scene.

So far the film has focused attention on one Ian McGuinness and his Natian Brewery and a couple other local brewers working hard to fulfill the dream, Captured by Porch's Dylan Goldsmith and homebrewer Trevor Thurston. My hope is to bring on Don Younger and some other Portland brewing history. I have the connection, now i just need to execute.

Anyone that is interested in helping document a chunk of Portland beer history, please let me know. I need a couple hands and eyes to assist in the last few months of shooting to really bring everything together. I will be able to compensate.

Email or leave a comment here on the blog.

More coming soon!
